Miami Herald’s Jim Morin on County Commission Bailout. By Geniusofdespair

We have one the countries top cartoonists, Jim Morin, at the Miami Herald. Lucky us. He did this cartoon today (hit to enlarge it) which goes with my blog of yesterday, lampooning the County Commission. His caricatures of Commissioners Vile Natacha Seijas and Bully Joe Martinez are on the money. Be forewarned, if you hit the link above there is an ad at top with a heaving fat belly. Mesmerizing...like watching yuletide logs (damn went back, the belly is gone).

Jim makes up for much of the Herald's ignoring important things.

Jim Morin is great! I went to the link and did not see the yule log belly-fat-jiggle. What a disappointment but it did give me a chance to review other cartoons Jim has done.

Rolle is there, along with Moss, but, who is the Commissioner between Martinez and Moss supposed to be??

Souto?

It is Gimenez; he overspent his funds too. Morin has a way with pictures that are worth a thousand words.

Do State Farm agents qualify for that money?

No State Farm is not a small business. Besides you have to be a friend of (or related to) one of the Commissioners to get any funds.

And, no I still think it is Souto...Gimenez did NOT over-spend his discretionary funds he over-spent his office staff funds. Different.

Actually, Gimenez did not overspend his office staff funds, because he had carryover from the previous 4 years.. At the end, I believe he is under the total number, substantially.

Stand corrected: That was Gimenez in the cartoon.
