Thank God for big favors. We can safely say the Bush era is OVER. Now we live with the disaster they made. Are they happy? What country will take them?

Do we have a link to a source on this?

Maybe it will be a good year after all :)

well, thats a break for the DEMS cause Jeb would have swept the state...there would have been SO much money poured into this campaign (from both sides) that it would have made our collective heads spin...

Im guessing Jeb will focus on making mountains of cash and leave the headaches of public office for others...

Kenneth, The source was CNN hours ago. Don't you trust me?

Actually the source was Adam Smith's blog at the St. Pete Times. At any rate, if the Republican candidates end up chewing each other up, Jeb could always come in at the last moment; his name recognition in Florida is universal and he doesn't need to spend a dime on it. I'm going to guess that the economy is still in dire shape in 2010 and that the real reason this "isn't the right time" is that Jeb didn't relish the idea of defending an indefensible record on public policy. So in the meantime he collects hundreds of thousands from corporate boards he sits on to meet a few days a year. And waits to see if the Democrats can put humpty dumpty back together again.

Jeb is hiding something he didn't want uncovered in a campaign -just excatly what was he doing as a "consultant" for Lehman brothers up until their demise?
And why the hell can't I find any info on how many planes the state of Florida owns to ferry around the Governor? 5? Owned? Leased? Cost????? I want to see a people demanding that these planes be sold in this time of financial crises. It's time to sacrifice and there is no logical reason the governor needs a private plane. Just like he didn't need 9 bodyguards to go to Europe.

bodyguards or lobbyists?

Watch out! Bush, the next generation is coming. Why do you think Jeb married a Mexican? One might argue that each child has some sort of police record, but that didn't seem to stop W. The hispanic vote will be taking over the country like it has in Dade, and the Bushes are ready!
Be very careful. The republicans are busy making their next plan while the democrats are busy cleaning up their mess. The Bush Inc. crowd is always a step ahead.

Jeb in no dummy. He realizes that it will take more than 2 years to rehabilitate the Bush name. He'll be back and unfortunately, the disfunctional and corrupt Democratic Party in Florida will have no answer to him.
