Dan Gelber is in the Running for Florida's U.S. Senator. By Geniusofdespair

Newly elected State Senator, Dan Gelber (he replaced Gwen Margolis), has announced that he is throwing his hat in the ring to become the Junior Senator from Florida, to replace that awful Mel Martinez. He joins Congressman Kendrick Meek who announced earlier this month that he too would run.

Has either of these guys done polling in the North of the State and the I-4 Corridor?

I am a big supporter of Dan Gelber (not with money, just support). I requested a meeting with him years ago and got a one-on-one with him. Imagine that.

Meek has better name recognition, but that's all polls will be able to say at this point.

Polling questions:

How likely are you to vote for an African American/Jewish Candidate (put in some form with other red-herrings) could be one question and: How likely are you to vote for a candidade from (4 being very likely, 1 least likely):

Panhandle
Miami-Broward
I-4 Corridor
Jacksonville

These are polling questions I would ask buried in with other less important questions.

I will vote for the pink guy. (He looks pretty pink in that photo).

I live in North central and Gelber will get my vote. Meek has his mother around his neck and her support of big builders should make good campaign fuel for any opponent.

I see Meek as a better representative in DC than Gelber..he's known by the Demos in power ...he's no rookie!

I like Gelber better. Kendrick Meek is weighted down by Mom and her Stackhouse dealing.

Meek has too much baggage.

Meek has the baggage of his Mom. She takes money from rock miners, criminals and anyone else with or without a pulse.
