Wednesday Miami Dade Will Be One Step Closer To 7,000 More Homes! By Geniusofdespair
According to the Miami Herald today, as of October 31st banks owned 10,234 homes in Miami Dade County. Foreclosures are up 97% from a year ago, and one in every 9 homes in Miami Dade County is in foreclosure. According to Realty Trac, Homestead has 4,159 foreclosures, Hialeah has 3,990 and Miami 23,834.
So what the hell, let’s approve Parkland, the Lennar mega-development, in West Miami, we need more homes there. And, yes I know they PROMISE they won't have the first house till 2014, so then, why now? Hurry up and wait? It goes before the Planning Advisory Board on Wednesday.

I couldn't figure out that map in the Herald today... it lists "number of homes in foreclosure" but it doesn't _per what_. Per zip code? Per square mile? Per city?
Was I missing something?
go to Realtytrac.com
Shame on them all!
