Thanksgiving. Guest Blog By Youbetcha'

In spite of the fact that I am often times the pragmatic and grumpy contributor to Eye on Miami, I want to share a moment of Thanksgiving with you. I am Thankful for each moment I have to share with my friends and family. Many times, I do not openly express how much a friendship or a special moment in my life means to me, but not many of those moments go unnoted in my heart of hearts.

After 9-11 so many of us felt the pain and sadness of the many people so quickly separated from loved ones on that fateful day. Therefore, in this season of Thanksgiving, I invite you to join me in telling loved ones, family and friends that they matter in our busy lives and that they are loved.

Additionally, I would like to you to join me in thanking our Military and their families for their gift of service to us, their unknown neighbor. Please go to this website created by the Xerox Company and send a Thank-you greeting to our service men and women. With our politics set aside, this simple gesture is a gift that we can offer from our heart

Have a Blessed Holiday.
