In the interest of ALWAYS keeping you uninformed, Miami Dade County has scheduled a meeting about how they (mis)spent our tax dollars, earmarked for mass transportation, at a time that no one will care to go to it. Can you imagine giving up 5 1/2 hours of your Saturday to hear spin? I can’t. But, if you are a brave soul, People’s Transportation Plan Summit will be held Saturday, November 15th from 8:30 am to 2 pm at the Miami Mart Airport Hotel’s convention center, 711 NW 72nd Avenue. Before you go: YOU MUST WATCH this video on how they spent the $800,000 million we paid by taxing ourselves an extra 1/2 penny sales tax. Caution: The video will pour salt on the wound but don’t go there without the facts because all they are going to do is spin -- counting on your bad memory. Also, if you care about that North South rail Corridor you had better go because they want to kill that one pretty badly.

Do you think they want to ask for some MORE money? Nah, after giving out all those multi-million dollar contracts with nothing to show for it, they wouldn't have the gall to do it. Or would they?
