Many of you have already voted by absentee ballot or early voting - great!
For those of you haven't yet voted, here's a quick way to find out when and where you can vote early, and what to bring.
I also wanted to share with you an open letter to young voters written by Progress Florida staffer and young voter himself, Ray Seaman.
Please share his message with all the youth voters in Florida you know.
"To my fellow Florida young voters,
The pundits are once again prepared to write us off and continue to perpetuate the myth that we just don't vote. That's absolute nonsense and it's time we put that myth to permanent rest.
In 2004 and in 2006, young voters turned out in record numbers to support progressive candidates and ideas - the kind of change we need now more than ever. In 2008, we must keep up the momentum and turn out to vote.
We're all busy people, so here's a quick way to find out when and where you can vote early and what to bring:
www.GoVote.org
Generation Y, Generation 9/11, the Millenials, whatever you want to call us - we're the most progressive generation since the 1930s! The powers that be and the radical right are scared to death of us - they want us to stay home. If we do, we face four more years of Bush-era policies we can ill afford.
So... www.GoVote.org
When we vote, progressives win - it's that simple. Let's show our country and the world that the youth of America will stand up, fight for, and vote for the kind of change we believe in.
See you at the polls,
Ray Seaman - University of Florida Class of 2009
PS: Please send this email to 5 of your roommates, classmates, friends or co-workers. Remember, when young people vote - progressives win."

Little kiddies are just so naive - they don't get it - if Barry wins nothing will change other than our taxes - it will be politics as usual for everyone - their romantic notions of change are comical
give up....your candidate is in the crapper
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday again shows Barack Obama attracting 51% of the vote nationwide while John McCain earns 46%.
Battleground state polls released yesterday showed Obama leading in Colorado, Florida, Ohio, and Virginia. With these latest results, Rasmussen Reports has moved Florida from “Toss-Up” to “Leans Democratic.”
I am a non-party affiliated voter.
I am confused because Mr. Seaman states that his group is "the most progressive since the 1930's".
How so?
It sounds like he's boasting but we're not sure why.
Why does he think that somebody is "scared to death" of his group?
Extremely vague material. I doubt that he will gain many thinking supporters.
I'm with eyeonmiami: Obama is going to take this election by a good sized margin.
Cheers,
Rock from Key West
