The first little pig built his house out of straw because it was the easiest thing to do.
The second little pig built his house out of sticks. This was a little bit stronger than a straw house.
The third little pig built his house out of bricks.
I don’t know why the Three Little Pigs came to mind when reading the three part Miami Herald Story today. What do you think: I tend to think that Developer Jorge Perez’s philosophy “of build it and they will come” (jobs etc.) is Pig No. 1. County Manager Burgess’ let me overwhelm you with boring stuff to dispel myths and shuffle around money so you don't understand it (and you will never finish reading my explanation), seems to be Pig No. 2. And Auto Dealer Norman Braman’s “Joe Robbie paid for his stadium, and let's have the money from the right source stance” sounds like Pig No. 3.
Miami-Dade's Burgess: Myths fuel megaplan detractors and JORGE M. PEREZ: Megaplan would bring jobs, urban renewal and, last: NORMAN BRAMAN: Leaders denying public any say on megadeal.
Also check out Ana Menedez Crist ditching his scruples for McCain's favor. Here is a bit of what she said:
UP FOR A PUPPET SHOW?
Now it's Crist's turn to babble like a fool for McCain.
Contrast two different responses to McCain's boneheaded idea, as quoted by The Associated Press.
Arnold Schwarzenegger, Republican governor of California: ``I will do everything in my power to fight the federal government on this issue and prevent any new offshore drilling.''
Crist: 'I think that not having that moratorium, blanket moratorium, and letting states' rights be recognized, if you will, certainly is appropriate.''
You tell 'em, Charlie. Really, enough is enough. Mr. McCain, you've had your fun. Now it's time to please release the governor's brain.

Many years ago Braman received low interest(if any) loans to build his mega dealership in Miami and keep him afloat. We did not vote on that!
Is there a dollar threshold for a referendum? What initiative qualifies for a referendum? Does anyone know?
His article contains many half truths and fiction. I.E. "our voting for $50 million in 2004 to ''renovate'' the Orange Bowl, the county -- four years later, without a referendum -- is giving that money to the Marlins". FALSE!!! The money was to repair OB. The OB is gone so the money was redirected(site specific) to build the Marlin Stadium, not as he implies handing a $50 mil check to the Marlins. The Stadium will be county owned.
As for Ana Menendez, she tells McCain to release the Governor's brain, I submit that Ms Menendez's brain should also be released from Republican bashing and her Democrat paty affiliation.
Norman Braman's column made the most sense to me. And, I totally agree with Ana Menendez. Why is supporting our environment a pinko, communist, liberal, cause to some readers? There are many, many Libertarians like me that agree with these views.
I am a conservationist Republican. We too exist. I am against drilling off our coast. I am not in agreement with Crist or McCain on this. McCain had better get with a new program. Here is a question, if we are in control of oil rich Iraq? Where is all the oil?
Maybe the oil is with the chemical weapons.
