Have you seen Jim DeFede lately? By Geniusofdespair

Since his hospital stay, Jim has dropped mega weight. Looking good Jim!

Here he is in a clip talking about the Marlins' Stadium deal. Snooze. DeFede is forecasting a future boondoggle for the Orange Bowl location and he is not so keen on the proposed new name either: Miami Marlins.

The City of Miami Commission will be discussing the stadium deal at 9:00 A.M. tomorrow.
12:27 on 2/21: Just heard Regalado against, all the rest voted in favor. Goes to the County today at 1 P.M.

Hopefully this is it early tomorrow morning and the stadium deal moves forward. I predict City of Miami approves it 3-2, and then Miami-Dade County will approve it 9-4. Go MARLINS!!!

City of Miami vote just in...4-1...Regalado (Mr No) was the only nay vote---what else is new. Go Miami Marlins...Now it goes to MDC.

What a great idea. More money out of my pocket to go directly into further enriching a bunch of millionaires.

Go [f*** yourselves] Marlins!

Last anon;
Here is another classic example of a troglodyke...What a warped attitude and mentality. Do you have to be so nasty? What are you?

Venting is okay...you have to do it somewhere. I didn't find the response particularly nasty...I saw it as a citizen tired of the status quo and sick of the bullshit.

I'm sorry but what was written Go [f*** yourselves] Marlins! is pretty nasty in my book. Venting is ok, but just because someone disagrees with another does not give one the right to insult the other.

Sorry to offend you Ned, but it's my typical reaction when people steal money from me to give it to rich people.

I would like to know exactly what is going to be stolen from you. Be specific please.
What about the reverse argument of the rich being taxed excessively and monies being used for welfare, food stamps, and other entitlements, when these people could go out and work, and not rely on government.

You know what Ned, I take that back. I'm not sorry I offended you.

You know what anon, I could care less about your apology. How typical...skirt the question.

The rich being taxed excessively? You are kidding right? Maybe the middle class, but certainly not the rich.

Class struggles...

Go Defede.

The Marlins rip-off of the taxpayers is amazing. Of course, it is only possible without the complicity of low IQ low net worth politicians.

Want specifics? There is no value placed on the site?

Who builds parking at $17,000 per space?

A "go away" fee of $6 mil to the Marlins if the deal implodes?

The taxpayers pay for the parking garage and the Marlins get all the revenues above $4.6 mil? 24/7?

Stupid construction estimates? MIA anyone? PAC Center anyone?

Only charging the Marlins $2.50 per sq ft rent? For a brand new facility. Who gets deals like that? Why?

Too many examples to go on...
