In response to my post earlier today about the Vile Natacha Seijas whittling away at oversight of the ITC, a reader said:
"Isn't this the very problem with "independent trusts/agencies", like the housing agency? Little by little the oversight is diminished until only one commissioner has control."
The County Commission Meeting January 10th will just be one more feather in her cap because no one says no to Natacha. And our reader is right, almost all are doing the power grab so that is why they can't say no.

It's all true. More constituencies that have supported Natacha... like the unions... should take a closer look at how corrupt our government is. Why do they support Natacha when the people she really represents have no use for the unions except when they are compliant and ignorant. Tell me where to send money, so eyeonmiami can accompany Natacha to the Jay Molina trade missions and blog from there.
Now that's a problem. Where to send money....
Congratulations! Memo story front page of Herald and a long article on water shortage/waste. But where was the Neighbors’ section? Did someone “swipe” min,e to use their own pedestrian language? I always check my NYTimes for mag and book review, do I have to wade through all the advertizing in the Herald? Maybe I inadvertently shucked it. Thoughts on Natacha coverage: why not hire a striking comedy writer? The money could go to the writer’s guild. It could be kind of an emergency fund.
Did you think that water story was strange? I did.
