Miami Presidential Primary: A Look at Outcome by Race/Ethnic Background. by Geniusofdespair

Below is a quick snapshot of how we voted in our neighborhoods. I just took a few areas from all over the county that I knew a bit about. I guesstimated the majority make-up of the population. I am afraid, based on this very small sample, Obama doesn't have a chance in Florida -- he is not picking up the Hispanic vote. And you might as well paste a big "L" on Romney's forehead unless he can pick up Giuliani's votes. things could change but, it isn't looking good for the Obama and Romney campaigns...unless they run against each other. That could be a real race.

You have to give credit where it is due:

A district with no Republican votes and 158 Democratic votes insn't bad at all. I like the people of OpaLocka!

Since no democratic candidates participated in the primary campaign, it might not be a true indication of whom democratic voters support or don't support. Hilary has much more voter recognition, so the beauty contest vote might not be a true indication of support. From the last debate, it appears that the two remaining democratic candidates agree on about 95% of the issues.

It wasn't a beauty contest. If anyone doesn't know the two candidates by now, they are pretty much brain dead and shouldn't be voting.

Also noting just ethnicity, not age, median income, etc., lends the numbers to false interpretation.

"....false interpretation."

How about this interpretation.....Obama only defeated Clinton in majority black precints.
