The infamous Miami City Commissioner Sarnoff Memo by Geniusofdespair

This is the famous memo that City Of Miami Commissioner Marc Sarnoff said he wrote to himself that the Related Group sued to get released. Once the content was leaked to Related it was reported by Channel 4 that they backed off the release - now I see why. Wow! Hit to enlarge.

Not good for Michelle Spence-Jones. She may be a really bad apple if this memo is true.

How could so many people know about this and it stayed under wraps. The big question is: Is Marty Marguilies in his right mind paying legal expenses for this woman. He had better rethink his investment in her.

This memo supports first hand knowledge of how corrupt politicians tell developers/builders to hire certain individuals to insure that the politician approve a project. This leaves no direct trail, but the money somehow gets back to the politician.

Unfortunatly it is all too true. I just got off the phone with an employee who will quit because of all the terrible things going on.

I commend Sarnoff for documenting this.

I hope Sarnoff Memo to himself is not incorrect in its Allegations.
I like the guy, but if this back fires on him. I don't see how he can get support from any of the other commissioners.

Direct knowledge from a Related executive, Alicia Cuervo, who was responsible for getting Spence-Jones's vote. The inference was quite clear. No money to Spence-Jones, no Yes vote for Related on Mercy re-zoning request.

Another Miami moment? Dist 5 Commissioner selling votes for cash?

alicia has a history. she was one of shiver's henchman (errr...henchlady). she came from homestead with him and left when he left.

no mention of her in todays paper. arriola is dissing the memo to the file. so, who did what to whom? is sarnoff without agendas?
