Gimleteye, I have found the most annoying thing in my life is washing clothes. I wash them then I wear them and then there they are to be washed all over again. It is a cycle I am oh so tired of. I have toyed with the idea of throwing away my clothes after I wear them rather than getting stuck in the constant ritual of attending to laundry.
Blogging is sort of like doing laundry for me. I write about the corruption and the waste and then I have to do it all over again. Sometimes it seems I am doing the same column over and over again.
I look forward to the day when I am old and I won't give a shit, when I won't bother washing clothes at all anymore - I will just wear the same dirty stuff day after day like a lot of the other smelly old people. Better yet, I could walk around naked when at home. (I just blurred the two and got a picture in my mind of Natacha Seijas naked.)
As for the treadmill of South Florida blogging, I look forward to a new dawn, a new day, where there will be nothing to shine a light on and I can stop writing. Public Servants like David Dermer, Katy Sorenson and Dan Gelber give me hope.
Somehow I think the smelly/naked part of my future plan is going to be a lot easier to accomplish than the other part.
Thank you readers for sticking with us: Genius of despair (and hope)

Congrats, Genius! Keep up the good work.
Hold it! I'm old but I don't smell. Those who do probably own a home in Dade County and have to pay the skyrocketting property taxes the BCC imposes, thus having no money left to buy soap and deodorant.
I didn't say EVERYONE smells i said "A Lot"
Congratulations and great job, Genius (and Gimleteye)! May you have even more success in your second year, as we look forward to the day that Genius need not do her laundry...
I am extremely old and smell very sweet. If the body in that pic of old nasty was supposed to be you, then you have gained a whole lot of weight since I last saw you. But I doubt. You are much to smart to gain weight.
It is better to actively work on a campaign than to complain from the keyboard.
Contact me ASAP to help with the Mike Suarez campaign tomorrow, election day.

Hey genious, congratulations on a job well done. Not only smart, but hilarous. Keep it up!
I'll pick up your laundry Thursday
I won't bring it back.
Who says dreams don't come true?
Mensa...it was Natacha Seijas...glad to hear you are smelling sweet...
Elvis I have actively helped many campaigns. I will be holding a sign tomorrow (not naked) and I am working on the Hometown Democracy campaign. I disagree with you -- the keyboard has done more to change the county then the 3 losing campaigns I wasted my time on last election cycle. IT WAS A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME BECAUSE YOU CAN'T UNSEAT AN INCUMBENT IN THE COUNTY.
I don't complain from the keyboard. I inform. There is a difference - everyone that knows me knows I do plenty of research.
I think Hometown Democracy is better than ANY campaign at the moment and i think that is the best place for anyone to spend their time. I was putting out petitions all weekend -- and writing on the blog. Good luck with Suarez. I hope he wins.
Thanks Woof -- that would be a pleasure...I would like to get rid of the pile. I have to say I hate it so much I just throw every color in together...and hope for the best.
Hay there our "rookie,"
You've given us the cookie (meat)
You're now a seasoned "gem"
Spreading the gospel stem
Don't worry about the laundry
You need'nt be in a quandry
Wash the "county" High & Dry
Soak the bureaucrats to the sky.
El Sid
Thanks poet!
