Our Krome Gold! Photo Contest continues... by gimleteye

Harry Emilio Gottlieb is this week's Krome Gold photo contest winner with not just one photo, but a series we'll publish for your benefit this weekend. Harry adds: "These are photos of Edgewater construction permitted but on hold." We can see what you mean, Harry: look at that beautified waterfront property! You win: a picture truly is worth a thousand words!

Krome Gold is not an award by Kodak: it's the name of a land holding outside the Urban Development Boundary near Krome Avenue at the western edge of Miami-Dade County, representing how political influence imposes enormous infrastructure costs on taxpayers, ruins the Everglades, and contributes to disaster capitalism!

To add a comment, tell us how you would value this photo value--in other words, "I liked that photo so much it is worth 50 Seijas and 1 Javier Souto", or to that effect. (We're still working out the kinks in this important competition, but stay tuned!)

That seawall is so inviting. I give the photo 3 Joe Martinez and 2 Audrey Edmunson.

We need to quantify these so we will have a sense of their value. For example is a Joe Martinez equal a Audrey Edmunson, or lessor or greater value?

THe slimy looking flotsam caught in the corner against the seawall reminds me of Natacha.I give it a 90 in stink factor.
