Candidate Joseph Giraldo Hernandez Rodriquez filed December 27, 2005 to run against County Mayor Carlos Alvarez for the 2008 election. This candidate has been registered for almost two years and I never knew? I have been slacking off. Who is he? Anyone know? I looked up his address, he rents in a 16 unit apartment building. Don't think he will be able to raise a couple of million but who knows.

There is always a good grass roots campaign. Although, it sounds like this guy should be already out campaigning for the past year.
If Mayor Carlos Alvarez does not do more to stop corruption he will be vulnerable. People are sick of their taxes being wasted.
See front page of the Miami Herald Sept 30th? Sean "Piddy" Combs makes $25 Mil a year but the idiots at the Empowerment Trust, Aundra Wallace and Williard Fair gave him $87,000 of the taxpayers money to fly to Miami on a private jet. For a one day trip. He must have been laughing. The taxpayers are crying.
Why don't we ask Sean to give it back in the form of a gift to Innocent's family. He's a good guy and I bet he would do it. Can you imagine if you were put in his position. If it were me, I would get angry. I bet he didn't realize where the funds were coming from. I would like to think that well of him.
Secondly, if someone gets me an address, I'll write a check and send it somewhere to benefit the family. Good begets good. I believe in the power of this blog spot and I am loving the bloggers here. Are we up for a little social experiment?

Whoever made the decision to pay the private jet charges for Sean "Puff Daddy" Combs is an idiot. And what about the board members? Do they sleep through meetings?
Carlos Alvarez bears responsibility. This will be a campaign issue.
