Jorge's Three Towers (which are to start at three millions dollars each) were approved by Three on the City of Miami Commission today. 3+3+3= Ick. If the Catholic church hadn't spent so much money on covering up for predator priests, maybe they wouldn't have had to make this really crappy deal. Let's get real, they didn't have to make the deal anyway, the church has more money than God (and so does Jorge Perez for that matter).
I have one word: 1 = Lawsuit!

Commissioner Sarnoff who represents the Mercy site and who actually lives in the Grove is passionately against the rezoning of Mercy. The change in zoning was required to permit Jorge Perez and his Related company to ruin the Mercy site, and the North Grove, with three huge high rises. Who wants to comment on why three non-Grove commissioners voted to ruin the North Grove?

The short vision of the Mercy Hospital lobby for selling land is disturbing. The $98 million in the long run is nothing. When the hospital needs to upgrade again in 5-10-20 years, will it sell off more property? The long term needs of the area hospitals probably mean they need land to expand and upgrade facilities, not reduce land, change zoning and impact the area with out of scale condo buildings that does nothing for quality of life in the long term.
The t shirt wearing is such a scam... They made this about Mercy Hospital services when it is really about Jorge Perez the Billionaire. It was putrid to see that phony balooney message on the shirts. they should have said:
Jorge Perez needs more apartments for multi millionaires...so screw you!
Not sure if you realize this, but Mercy really doesn't get Catholic Church funding.

For thousands of Years Religious relics have brought many of the faithful & their much appreciated donations to the church.
Some of these relics include congealing & liquefying saint’s blood, marble statues flowing with blood stained tears, iconic images in windows & most recently even a grilled cheese sandwich with an unexplainable silhouette of a holy face.
Perhaps the Shroud of Turin is the best known & most mysterious of all of the religious relics.
Recently discovered in the hidden catacombs beneath Mercy Hospital is the new & mysteriously illustrated hospital bed sheet with a faint image that looks surprisingly like that of Jorge Perez of the Related Group.
Perhaps this Shroud of Mercy will help Mercy Hospital raise enough funds through donations so that they will not need to rezone their land & sell it to build more unnecessary luxury condos for millionaires.
I hate Jorge Perez and his goons. I have no respect that allows his employes to have inter-office relationships and turns the other cheek will adultuy is being committed. This guy and is playboy Execs ruined my marriage and destroyed any future my ex-wife and I had raising our kids. Yes, my wife was screwing around on the job with another married man. Scumbag Matt Allen and this asshole has kids of his own.
