Will Someone Please Sic the Fashion Police on Fidel by Geniusofdespair
The Herald is running photos of Castro saying: He is looking stronger. I just wish someone would tell the dictator to ditch the nylon warm-up suits. I am so tired of seeing them...and him.

Whoa. Genius, that was my first thought when I saw the picture!
Then, I was wondering if they took the miltary gear away to keep him off the streets. (and stages)
Is that really HIM or is that a double?
My last thought is who makes those suits? Someone in Cuba or NIKE? Maybe he is pumping his stock in the company up by wearing them in photos and making them a must-have fashion.
Actually my first thought when seeing that pic was "Oh no, now The Powers That Be (or at least some cockamame Miami-Dade Commissioner is gonna try banning Chinese food or travel to China.
That's what people in their 80's wear. Comfortable, relaxed fit. I think Castro should join up with Bob Dole for a TV commercial on Viagra, both wearing Adidas suits.
Nothing Castro does is without great thought. He or his advisors must have decided that the warm up suit makes him look far less military and therefore forecast a kinder and gentler future. It sure would be nice but this is one time I am probably wrong.
