I've been living in Miami since 1992. Came from San Francisco. I've followed the shenanigans since day 1 and sometimes it's amusing but more often it's sad and frustrating. While I feel that the politics here adds to the "frontiertown" mentality that I like, scumbags like Seijas will eventually get their day. I danced a jig of happines the day they carted off Miriam Alonso..so good things can happen here. Patience and fortitude help.

i love out of town readers. We need out of town readers. I want them to feel sorry for us...and, at the same time admire us -- that we somehow work at holding the tide of evil back. I want them to understand what it is like here, I am not trying to scare them away. I want them to know how arrogrant the commissioners really are...that we aren't making it up: When we say vile Natacha Seijas, it is because she is really vile. It is hard to believe what they will say and what better way to show people than to hear them say stupid stuff themselves.
We have a lot of out of town readers...In fact we have had almost 50,000 pages viewed in 3 1/2 months.
