Jose Luis Machado's, CML Holdings bought property 30-6019-000-0021, For $3,923,000 Feb. 2006. The property was sold to Latterner and Rosen’s Company, MD Holdings LXIX, LLC. Aug. 2006 for $6,210,000. The property is 543,324 Sq. Ft.
I would say that $2,287,000 is a tidy profit to make in 6 months. You might remember that I had previously mentioned that Michael Latterner and Wayne Rosen partner with Lennar on deals a lot and this piece borders on a Lennar Development.
I know this sale was 6 months ago but it was well into the slow market.

Another story the Miami Herald simply can't report: how land speculation like this works... and who gets paid off. Unbelievable, coupled with the Sunday story that the county manager asked to be briefed on politically sensitive investigations by the head of Miami Dade police.

Is he the one that wanted Homestead City council to allow him on the stadium property? Who was the lobbyist?
What about the existing charter school across the street from the stadium? They get use the property for parents to stack up and as a driveway for the school. Why? Was the school allowed to build without the proper acreage for parking and driveways? Who was the force behind that?
I am glad that I live on the flipside of that road and not have to be on that road on school days.
