I Am At A Loss by Genius of Despair

I could be putting new songs on my I Pod instead I am writing this to you -- the reader. I am trying to figure out how to appeal to readers in Miami. I have jumped through hoops and changed subjects all week with little comment from you.

I really don't know what you want to hear about or who the readership is here. You can email me if you don't want to post a comment: geniusofdespair@yahoo.com

Do you want to discuss Anna Nicole or do you want to hear more about the real estate bubble (Gimleteye likes that one). The articles I am most proud of, I don't think anyone reads (the Florida Power and Light article for example). Gimleteye is now talking about movies and the boat show. Do you want to hear about my day too? Well I went to the Coconut Grove Art Fair and bought two large cups and ate ice cream. Then I went to Captains Tavern for dinner with friends.

I personally need more feedback so I know which way to go with this blog. It is too much work to produce good columns if you are satisfied with jibberish. I have this idea to look up all the recent sales of new condos for certain developers -- look for patterns, check them against appraisals. It is a lot of work and I don't want to keep doing research for nothing.

What interests you readers? I have to know. Now on to my I Pod.

Don't confuse readership...with commentors...keep plugging, we're interested & we'll try to be better on feedback!

Stick with what you have a passion for. What you offer to the South Florida blogosphere is unique and one of a kind. No one else is doing it.

I agree with Anon...and there may be a couple things I can suggest to up your comments, if that's what's really bugging you.

Don't be discouraged! Your readership is higher than you think... Sometimes I find that one can write so well and thoroughly that it leaves little room for comment other than an "I agree" or "well said".

Yeah, don't worry so much about the comments, just keep the content flowing...

Hmmm.

I am sorry... things were out of control here. I haven't even been to my own web pages in a week. Talk about about aggravating some people who help me. The only feedback they are getting from me is silence.

Love you guys, though. My silence has nothing to do with lack of appreciation. But, lots do with unscheduled chaos in my life.

Keep on keeping on. You are doing well.

Well, you all are doing such an excellent job , there is often nothing left to say.
I haven't found a post yet that I have wanted to not read-so please keep up the good work.
I even ran across a credit to EYE on the New Times website blog recently .
I imagine the numbers of lurkers are increasing daily.
PS:doesn't Blogger allow you to see how many hits you get on your blog?

Genius, You give people a forum to express their frustration, anonymously. Several times I have thought about contacting you to arrange a personal visit to discuss issues that you merely scratch the surface on. I see the chokehold from a different perspective. You singled me out personally in one of your blogs. It showed me that you don't know everything. You simply report it as you interpret it. This blog reminds me that reality is what each person interprets it. Sometimes you are right, other times, I question your perspective.

If i was always right, I would be G.O.D.

I appreciate readers that explain why they think another view, from mine, is better -- like truly blue does on term limits.

I echo the above comments, I read this blog a few times a day, I wrote before this blog is more newsworthy than the herald and other news sources in Miami.
