DRAG YOUR FRIENDS OUT TO VOTE by geniusofdespair

I was told: As of Saturday the County Elections Department reports that only 22,159 people had taken advantage of early voting, while 34,979 absentee ballots had been received for counting on Tuesday. This does not bode well for a “yes” vote for a strong mayor. So drag those good for nothing relatives out, email friends, drive a neighbor...do what you can to get AT LEAST two or three people to the polls! Send people on the fence to DeFede Tackles the Strong Mayor

Another thing: When I put these phony PAC addresses into google guess what comes up: "Miami Dade County Vendors Requesting Solicitations Report." What is that about? HERALD WHY DON'T YOU LOOK INTO THAT instead of doing biased reporting. Are any of these phony front addresses being used to get contract bids? Does anyone at the county ever check on the paperwork they are being given by bidders?

Grrrr.

This is enough to make me nuts.

Sure does tire me out to look at this blog and realize the amount of work it takes to keep an eye on Miami.

you aren't kidding -- it is one hell of a job to try to keep up. I am just afraid that many people -- who don't keep up with anything but will vote -- and they
will believe those mean and nasty mailers.

Those mailers are not nasty. They are full of words that are strung together as truthful facts, when they are not. It is awful. so many folks are being misled by the people who have personal agendas.

It is sad as well as shameful! Our community deserves better!

Did anyone else notice that there was not a word about the vote on Tuesday in this morning's paper?

Since at least Friday, when eyeonmiami published the bad signatures / PAC fraud the paper has had the information about who was behind the mailers that sent fear throughout Miami Dade.

Get out and vote, is right!

Just look at the PAC's Political Action Committees.

The mayors pac has an actual visible front person Jose Riesco, who you can actually call on the phone.

The PAC against the strong mayor has had two questionable addresses, a front person who has two signatures perhaps and no listed phone (I called information), and the phone number supplied in November '06 is a disconnected phone number.

Who do you trust? Even the PAC's should tell you.
