The PACS that Hurt the Mayor and Help Natacha Seijas by geniusofdespair

What Corporations are giving the really big bucks to the PAC (Political Action Committees) against the Strong Mayor and to help the Vile Woman stay in office? I looked at the PAC info. Here are some of the Corporations giving the big bucks...I also included an officer that you might know (or not). Read my previous post on Wayne Rosen — I said he shows up like a bad penny and what do you know: He shows up here! Coincidentally, many of the Corporations below own land on the other side of the Urban development Boundary line. Why isn’t the Herald looking at these PACS???

Shores Development Inc.
ROSEN, WAYNE (a Lennar business partner)

D.A.R.T. CONSTRUCTION SERVICE
SEAN MURRAY, TODD (only one I don’t recognize on this list)

KROME GROVE INVESTORS, LLC
EASTON, EDWARD W (Has a Development of Regional Impact on the other side of UDB)

Century Homebuilders, LLC
PINO, SERGIO

Brown Development Group
BROWN, VICTOR (Tried last year to move the line for a development)

Shoma Development Corp.
SHOJAEE, MASOUD

South Dade Builders, Inc.
LOPEZ, GEORGE M

Natacha is going to owe these Corps/people big. Some have made $10,000 contributions to the PACS. Everyone should watch PACS, they have nice names but look deeper than the name. Look at Pacs By the way: Citizens to Protect the People has collected $141,800.00, Citizens for Open Government, Inc. has collected $136,000.00 (and they have new reports pending).

Does it seem odd to give this much money to help Vile Natacha keep a $6,000 a year salary and stop the strong mayor change to our charter.

FOR GOD'S SAKE PEOPLE WAKE UP!

It's the law of supply and demand. There is a vast supply of money-hungry politicians in our county, and a high demand for cheap land and favors that the powerful developers want.

And, voila! The decades-plus-long fiefdoms of bad commissioners appear and grab on to power like leeches on a wound... and they won't let go unless we pry them away.

This is why community activists from all over the county have apparently joined forces to oust the real power behind the county commission - Seijas. I'm sure we will see hundreds of thousands of dollars in contributions from the same old crowd, the same ones who showed up a couple of weeks ago at a YMCA gala where Natacha was given an award for "20 years of service to the community", where they contributed tens of thousands of dollars to keep her employed as the YMCA director of governmental affairs.

Hey, they get to please their commissioner, keep her employed and get a tax write off at the same time.

Only in America!

The battle lines are drawn. The issues are clear. When is the Miami Herald going to let readers know? And, when it does let readers know, will El Nuevo Herald have the same information as the Miami Herald, or will the newspaper pander to different audiences?

Well there is a little bit of transparency. Take the 'Committee to Protect the People's Choice'. The people's choice, in this case, would be vile Natacha. All big developers, big Latin Builders Association leaders, Pino, Adrian, Gil, Herran. In other words, "All in" to protect the queen, ba-da-bing. You have to love best, the last report showing the Graham companies chipping in. It's money flow/ payback, at least the one required by law, for her relenting on their piece of the Hialeah application to move the Urban Development Boundary. That's the only one that passed, with Codina and Pino and Raul Martinez sitting in the front row. Remember how Seijas bitched about the Graham company slipping in their 800 acres on top of what the Politburo Builders wanted, without lifting any of the load. Well I guess their lifting their share now!!! LOL Probably should be a Herald story, don't hold your breath! Natacha, can't you squeeze a few more tens of thousands out of the Grahams for your defense fund? Come on, they can afford it. You're letting them get off cheap!
