I am sure the existential meaning went over my head. It was about the bubonic plague not Ebola, but I am sure they are interchangeable as far as the book is concerned. I also read a non fiction book about a man at a leporsey colony. I must have been about 12. I was a strange kid. I think I will read the Plague again and see what I missed.
