Jon Stewart tags Florida before his interview with Sen. Marco Rubio: wow … by gimleteye

HuffPo writes, "Jon Stewart gave Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) an introduction like no other guest in "Daily Show" history." Agree. Just watch this, EOM readers. The comic takeaway making life survivable in the Sunshine State (that won't allow solar power on rooftops.)

"Instead of the usual brief list of accomplishments, Stewart devoted his entire opening segment to recapping some the craziest stories from Rubio's home state."

It's why Jon Stewart keeps coming to work and why he's a national treasure.

So many have a vision of Florida as beaches and bikinis. The fact is that if you get a few miles away from the beach, Florida is largely rural. That's not entirely a bad thing. I enjoy the beach because I live close by, I adore more the wild places of our state that still exist, at least for now.

I just don't know what is wrong with us. Every time you turn around these crazy stories come up. What will 2015 bring? Whatever comes, it will be beyond anyone's imagination. You can not think up these stories.

I loved the entire segment and, although Ireally don't much like Congressman Rubio, I was impressed by his sense for humor. He is human, it seems.
