To all those who believe everything they see on the internet: This is not Travon Martin. By Geniusofdespair

I heard the argument, "Why does the media keep publishing such a young photo of Travon Martin when he looks like this?" (and people show me this photo above).

This is not Travon Martin. It is Jayceon Terrell Taylor, also known as Game, a 32-year-old rapper from Compton, Calif., near Los Angeles.

If you want to see the most recent photo of Travon Martin this is the link. Warning: they are crime scene photos and they will make you cry, he is just a kid.

Could you please cite ANY website or news outlet that reported that photo of the old rapper “Game” as a photo of Trayvon Martin? No one thinks that is Martin. The only people using that rapper photo are anti-Zimmerman people who falsely claim it's being distributed by Zimmerman supporters.

After Trayvon's death, his parents released angelic photos of him between the ages of 12 and 14 to sway public opinion. The more recent photos of him found on his twitter account, facebook account, and cell phone showed he looked very different. Martin frequently wore a gold grill in his mouth and his favorite pose was flipping people the double bird. There are also legitimate photos of him refereeing a fight and smoking pot.

News Channel 6 in Orlando published the legitimate cell phone photos of Trayvon HERE. Not very flattering.

GOD, that link to the crime scene photos was interesting, especially the closeup of his face. I did not know Trayvon had a beard before seeing that.

"Not very Flattering"
GZ went looking for a fight he could win and he found one thanks to his gun.. TM like to fight with his fists like the popular MMA cage fighting grappling? and lived another day to do so.. but when GZ wanted to fight/confront TM he did not lay down any rules beforehand hence the confrontation GZ demanded respect and TM did not give it to GZ basically a wannabe Rent A Cop.... incidents took place in Orange County, Fla.
In 2005, Zimmerman, then 20, was arrested and charged with “resisting officer with violence” and “battery of law enforcement officer,” both which are third-degree felonies. The charge was reduced to “resisting officer without violence” and then waived when he entered an alcohol education program. Contemporaneous accounts indicate he shoved an officer who was questioning a friend for alleged underage drinking at an Orange County bar.
In August 2005, Zimmerman’s ex-fiancee, Veronica Zuazo, filed a civil motion for a restraining order alleging domestic violence. Zimmerman counterfiled for a restraining order against Zuazo. The competing claims were resolved with both restraining orders being granted.

Zimmerman afraid of himself...
Does he fear for his safety? Does he have concerns about the quality of a life for the rest of his life?
ROBERT ZIMMERMAN JR.: He has always feared for his safety. We have always feared for his safety and our safety as a family. Clearly, you know, he's a FREE MAN IN THE EYES OF THE COURT but he's GOINT TO BE LOOKING AROUND HIS SHOULDER FOR the rest of his life. There are factions, there are groups, THERE ARE PEOPLE THAT WOULD WANT TO TAKE THE LAW INTO THEIR OWN HANDS AS THEY PERCEIVED IT OR, YOU KNOW, BE VIGILANTES IN SOME SENSE THAT THEY THINK JUSTICE WAS NOT SERVED, they won't respect a verdict no matter how it was reached and they will always present a threat to George and to his family.

How much money have TrayMom™ and TrayDad™ made off the death of their son? I would love to see a blog article about that!

Earl you are a putz.

The photos of Travon on Facebook/cell phone were no different from what any other stupid teenager posts. They all take inappropriate pictures because they are stupid kids not adults.

no different from what any other teenager posts? my two teenagers have not posted any photos that show them wearing gold teeth, smoking marijuana, making obscene gestures, or fighting. ditto for the children of our friends. you must run in some pretty rough circles.

Geniusofdespair said...

I guess I do.

Peggy looked at your conservative site. Another Putz. You don't know what all the teenagers around you are doing. And what do you have against gold teeth? I know lots of people with gold teeth is that now a sin? I say fuck a lot, is that worse then taking a picture of myself giving you the finger?

Beyond all of that the bottom line is that anyone can arm themselves, then pick a fight with you and gun you down and kill you during that fight, and it is legal in FL. It is a very dangerous situation for people who are unarmed 24/7. You must be armed to have a chance of coming out of the unexpected fight alive.

When you think about it, it is worse here than in the old days of the wild west. As I recall Gunsmoke, both parties had to have their guns, and the one that was fastest to draw and fire usually walked out of the confrontation alive. It was a rule that you couldn't draw on an unarmed man, and when someone wanted to kill you, they would even give you a gun to avoid breaking that rule. But in FL no need to give the appearance of a fair fight. Just start a fight with someone you think has no gun, and bingo they are dead and you are alive, and it is legal. Even the cowboys wouldn't want to come here.

Tired of so many deaths there, here and nearby. Self-righteousness, machismo, paranoia and craze.

People have not really processed yet the full implications of the Zimmerman case and the stand your ground law yet. They think it is just about killing Blacks. But it is a major change in our way of life. We will see what the Justice Department does. People in Texas and Mississippi wear their guns openly in their holsters at their sides as they conduct everyday work, chores, and business. To protect their lives, FL maybe next.

C'mon Lynda! Surely you can come up with a better handle than "peggy"?

Peggy forgot to mention that Trayvon also took photos of his hand on a gun, stolen jewelry, and ingredients for the drug called lean. He was a bad apple. If he thought Zimmerman was suspicious, he should have called police instead of attacking Zimmerman. The trial revealed what actually happened and that Trayvon caused his own death, but it was still a tragedy for all.

Had Trayvon had a gun, Zimmerman probably would have been dead. As soon as he began following him and approached him he could have killed him on the spot and it would have been legal. With stand your ground, it is best to shoot first, and ask questions later. But then Zimmerman would have never approached him if he thought he had a gun. He would have followed police orders and stayed in his car. It was a kill situation for him because he was armed and he felt Trayvon was not.

Chauncey said...

To the last anon, you are not allowed to kill someone for following you. However, you can kill someone who beats your head into the sidewalk MMA style.

Also, court testimony showed Zimmerman was never ordered to stay in his car. The evidence also showed Martin confronted Zimmerman, not the other way around. If Martin had survived the shooting, he would have been tried as an adult for aggravated battery and he would be in prison today.

If Trayvon had a gun, it would be an illegal one because he was under 18.

Anonymous said...

So he was a dead kid walking once Zimmerman picked the fight. It might be better to be in jail than dead. . .

That is why the boycott is so important. The situation is too dangerous here. People need to keep their kids out of this state.

I understand there is a great deal of discussion and concern from the players and families of collegiate football players about risking their lives coming to Florida to play at Florida schools when they can go to other states and be safe . . .

Anonymous said...

Why was Trayvon Martin suspended from his school?
Newspapers wrote about drugs, fighting and stolen items found in his possession.

You mean to tell me that any kid, black, white, green or purple, can be simply walking down the street, an armed person picks a fight with the kid and in the middle of the fight shoots and kills the kid, it its legal? And it is illegal for the kid to have a gun? Then all kids, black, white, green or purple are at risk and should never be walking down the street.

A great deal of discussion about college football players not being safe in Florida?
Where exactly are these discussions taking place? Penn State, Rutgers?
